Made of HSS M2 high speed steel with hardness of 65° HRC (+/-1°). Designed for cutting external right-hand metric threads. Great for either cutting new threads or repairing damaged threads. Set contains 1 taper, 1 plug and 1 bottoming tap. Taper taps: starts the thread square with the workpiece. Plug taps: used in through or blind holes.
